Sign Overload: DO NOT.. I Repeat DO NOT Enter

This one annoys me to no end.  If you missed the one way sign because you are coming from the other direction, you aren't going to miss the two DO NOT ENTER signs.  Once again, this is in the heart of our historic district.  Is this really what we want decorating our historic landscape?

When I first moved to the Atlanta area, fresh-faced and wide-eyed, from Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1989, the traffic was very scary and intimidating to me. Spaghetti Junction literally caused me to have nightmares, and I had never encountered a reversible lane before in my life. I well remember my first trip along West Paces Ferry in beautiful, historic Buckhead, I was greeted with a big, red sign in the middle lane that simply said NO! I was terrified! What a welcome!
